1. MEDICAL SPELL CHECKING FILES FOR
MICROSOFT WORD (Windows)
MEDSPEL MedSpel contains 10,000 words. There is a free 30-day evaluation period. At the end of thirty days, you are expected to register the dictionary or remove it from your computer. (Note: It will continue to work after 30 days.) The single user registration fee is $7.50 US. The registration entitles you to an expanded spelling dictionary that includes nearly 15,000 medical terms. See the README.TXT file for registration info

The
On-Line Medical Dictionary is a service of the U.K.-based Cancer Web.
These dictionaries contain more words that the MedSpel files but spelling
is British, not American, so watch for variations.
You will notice multiple files because there are size restrictions for
Word dictionaries so they need to be broken up into smaller files.
Add all the files during installation.
COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS -- The Commercial Products directory contains a number of commercially available spell-checkers that range in price from $15. to $150. Some are complete dictionaries with definitions as well as spell checkers. These files are in web format and will open with your browser.
Installation instructions can be found in the ReadMe.txt and ReadMe.doc files.
2. WINZIP Sooner or later you will run across a "zipped" file and you will need this utility to decompress the file. If you need to send a group of files to another member, you can zip them into one file, also.
